Adam Johnson – Founder, Instructor, and Survivor
Adam Johnson didn’t grow up around guns. In fact, he was raised in a home where firearms were strongly discouraged. Toy guns and even water guns were banned in the household. At the age of three, Adam’s mother took him to an anti-gun rally—part of a well-intentioned effort to steer him away from violence and danger. For years, he had no real interest in firearms.
That all changed at age 19.
While riding in a car with his cousin and two friends, Adam became the victim of an unprovoked shooting. Three rounds were fired at the vehicle. One bullet struck his friend in the arm, then hit his cousin in the neck. Miraculously, everyone survived—but the experience left an indelible mark.
In that moment, Adam made a decision that would shape the rest of his life:
He would never again leave his safety up to chance.
Since then, Adam has dedicated himself to mastering firearms, understanding the legal and tactical aspects of personal defense, and—most importantly—teaching others to do the same. What started as a journey of personal protection grew into a mission to help others reclaim their safety, confidence, and control.
Today, Adam is a highly certified and trusted instructor, committed to delivering high-quality, safe, and respectful firearms education to people of all experience levels.
