Defensive Pistol Instruction
This comprehensive Defensive Pistol Class is designed for anyone interested in self-defense, whether you're a concealed carry (CCW) permit holder, a self-defender, or someone considering obtaining a CCW permit.
We will cover both Inside and Outside the Home defensive strategies, focusing on real-world scenarios that could arise in everyday life.
Class Highlights:
Safe Draw: Learn how to safely draw your firearm from a holster.
Controlled Pairs & Rapid Fire: Master the technique of shooting controlled pairs, double tap and rapid fire.
One-Handed Shooting: Train on strong side and support side one-handed shooting.
Pistol Malfunctions: Learn how to clear common pistol malfunctions effectively.
Reload Techniques: Understand emergency and tactical reloads.
Retention / Hip Shooting: Master retention shooting and shooting from the hip.
Shooting on the Move: Learn to shoot while moving.
Multiple Threat Engagement: Effectively engage multiple threats.
Shooting from Cover: Learn how to shoot behind barricades and from 90 and 180-degree angles.
Important Notes:
This is not a beginner pistol class. I will not be teaching basic skills like magazine release operation or slide-lock techniques.
If you are a brand-new shooter with no prior pistol experience, you must complete a Basic Pistol Class before taking this class.

What You Will Need:
Pistol: Bring 1 or more (I recommend a backup in case of a malfunction)
Magazines: 4 minimum (4-5 preferred)
Ammo: 400 rounds (Let me know if you need me to bring ammo, and we can work it into the class price)
Holster: Please bring an appendix or strong side, outside-the-waistband (OWB) or inside-the-waistband (IWB) holster specifically designed for your pistol model. Acceptable materials include non-collapsible sturdy leather, Kydex, or polymer only—no nylon Uncle Mike's-style holsters. Trigger-finger retention-release holsters are not allowed. Eye & Ear Protection
Sun Protection: Hat, sunscreen, bandana, etc.
Water & Snacks: (I will provide some, but feel free to bring your own)
Knee Pads: If you have them (if not, I will provide cardboard)
